By the Seashore – a guided prayer experience
Picture with me a sea side setting, bright warm sun, the sound of seagulls overhead, waves lapping the shore, and warm sand under your bare feet. . .
As you walk along you notice in the distance ahead of you a large gathering of people, of various ages. . .
As you get closer you interest is piqued because even though there is a very large crowd, they are nearly silent, and only the voice of one man is audible, it is a strangely familiar voice. . .
When you get right up next to the crowd instead of holding their positions, they slowly begin to part and allow you to get closer and closer to the center and the man speaking . . . .
And then all at once you are in the center of the crowd with him,
He turns to you and you recognize Him at once, its Jesus
His eyes show that He is so delighted you have come to meet Him, . . .
Suddenly the crowd is gone, and it is just you and Him standing in the warm sun, alone
What does He say to you?
How do you respond to Him?
