Peter Enthusiastically Seeks Jesus and Is "Reinstated"
Text: John 21:1-20
Occasion: General
Audience: General
Theological Tradition: General
Topic: Forgiveness
Author: Jeff D

Direction

Even though Peter made the huge mistake of denying Jesus, he is accepted back with "open arms".

How to Get There

Focus on two things...1) Look at how enthusiastic Peter was to be with Jesus. He had no shame and dove right into the water to swim to him! 2) Look at Jesus' willingness to forgive and allow Peter to be "part of the gang" again.
