A Brief Description of the Curriculum

This Series uses the Christian Movie, "To Save a Life" in conjunction with the Bible to explore issues relevant to Teens

Series Information/Overview

The movie, "To Save a Life" is an excellent tool to help teens explore deep and relevant life issues from a Biblical perspective. The curriculum uses Biblical passages, movie clips, small group discussions, and large group messages to evangelize and disciple teens. There is one introductory lesson and 10 individual lessons. You will probably need to the introductory lesson and do it in the beginning, but the following lessons are not in any necessary order, so feel free to change the order, skip lessons or add lessons to suit.

It is very important to make sure that you use the movie, images and/or all of it's copyrighted material legally. There are packages and licenses you may need to buy if you choose to show the entire movie and possible use clips from it. You can discover what you need to know at http://www.tosavealifeleaders.com/ to get started. Also, this curriculum is produced by me alone and is in no way connected with any other curriculum including the official "To Save a Life" Bible Study that you will find on the above website.

It is also important to do your homework; including watching the movie a few times yourself and also involving parents and adult volunteers. The movie is rated PG-13 for a reason and so it contains scenes that may be controversial in your ministry context. You will need to make sure you have communicated with the parents and of course, GOD in order that it may go well with you and your ministry.
