How to Get There

This message can also use Exodus 14 and Joshua 3 as secondary verses.
  • We all struggle with foing as God asks, how to apply God's power to our lives.
  • Throughout the Bible, we see God asking people to go in the general direction that God asked.
  • Between our first step and our need, God intervenes. God gives power along the way in our journey, not before we start.
  • Gos is able and willing to work in our lives, but we have to start moving in the general direction of God's will.
  • Pray, but act. Walk a step. Watch God work.

Things to Watch For

This message, like so many, can devolve into being about trusting in ourselves and doing things ourselves. This isn't about any of that, but about having the faith to step out on what you know God is calling you to do and trusting that God will come through.
